Patriotic Freedom Wreath: #1

$35.00Price
Quantity

Looking for a meaningful way to show your love of country and support local community causes? These one-of-a-kind wreaths are handcrafted right here in Evergreen using strips from American flags that have been honorably retired during our Elks Lodge annual Flag Day ceremonies.

Each flag once flew proudly over homes and businesses in our community, serving its time in the sun, wind, rain and snow. When these flags became too worn to fly, they were formally retired with dignity — and given new purpose in these beautiful wreaths, continuing to honor the freedom they represent.

** If a specific wreath is still listed here, it SHOULD still be available. I try to remove them within a few hours of them being sold! **

Is it okay to cut up an old flag? ⭐
YES! According to the U.S. Flag Code, once a flag is deemed unserviceable, it should be retired “in a dignified way.” The traditional method is burning it in a ceremony — but cutting or separating the flag before burning (or to prepare it for other respectful uses) is specifically recommended in many flag retirement guides.

Repurposing pieces of a retired flag into tribute wreaths is a heartfelt, acceptable, and meaningful way to honor its legacy.
