Welcome to Mountain Girl Magic, where cozy mountain vibes meet thoughtful, handcrafted design. I’m Shannon Huffman, the maker behind it all, and I love creating pieces that bring warmth, charm, and a touch of magic to your home, business, and events.

My Story

Mountain Girl Magic started as a way to blend creativity with practicality. From laser-engraved home décor and one-of-a-kind wreaths to custom lamps, graphic design, and website support, every project is crafted with care. Over the years, I’ve expanded to include specialty baking with Mountain Roots Bakery, bringing flavors inspired by  the Southwest and Evergreen, Colorado.

I’ve always been drawn to creative problem-solving and meaningful connections. My educational journey equipped me with a strong foundation in design and technology, and I’ve spent years honing my skills to offer a diverse range of services. Whether I’m crafting a personalized home décor piece, designing a logo for a local business, or building a user-friendly website, my goal is always to deliver work that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.

Meet the Maker

Hi! I’m Shannon. I’m a lifelong maker, inspired by the mountains I call home and the people who fill them with stories. I love combining cozy, rustic charm with modern touches—warm woods, forest greens, subtle brass, and a hint of witchy magic. When I’m not crafting for Mountain Girl Magic, you’ll find me baking specialty breads with Mountain Roots Bakery, exploring new flavors on the road, or designing projects for nonprofits and local organizations.

Every project I take on is a collaboration. I work closely with my clients to understand their vision and bring it to life in ways that feel authentic, beautiful, and magical.

Community Involvement

Beyond my business, I’m deeply committed to giving back to my community. I’m proud to be an active member of the Evergreen Elks Lodge, where I wear many hats to support our mission of service:

• Webmaster: I manage and maintain the Lodge’s website, ensuring it remains an engaging and up-to-date resource for members and the community. I also manage the Lodge Facebook page (public) and Members group (private).

• Newsletter Editor: I design our monthly newsletter, highlighting events, member achievements, and community initiatives.

• Community Activities Chair: I coordinate events and activities that bring people together and support local causes. If you are an Evergreen local (or visitor!) you might see me at annual events like the Easter Egg Hunt & Community Breakfast, the Evergreen Rodeo Parade Float (I’m the one with the microphone!), or our Halloween event.

• Public Relations Chair: I promote Lodge and State Association events, educate the public about Elks’ charitable work, and encourage community support.

Why I Do What I Do

At the heart of everything I do is a passion for creativity and connection. Whether I’m working with clients through Mountain Girl Magic or serving my community through the Evergreen Elks Lodge, I’m driven by the belief that small, thoughtful actions can make a big difference. I’m proud to call Evergreen my home and to contribute to its vibrant, supportive community in every way I can.
